Miroir graphique à facettes, années 2000

Maison Lecan présente ce grand miroir graphique des années 2000. Il se compose d'un miroir central rectangulaire et d'un contour fait d'éclats de miroir aux angles vifs, qui se chevauchent sur tout le pourtour.

Son point fort, c'est ce contour. Les facettes sont posées sur plusieurs niveaux, en léger relief, et un liseré noir souligne chaque arête. L'effet change avec la lumière et selon l'endroit d'où on le regarde.

L'ensemble est monté sur un panneau de MDF noir d'environ 12 mm, découpé en suivant la silhouette des facettes. Deux attaches au dos permettent de l'accrocher à la verticale comme à l'horizontale. On peut le poser en miroir de pied dans une entrée, ou l'accrocher en long au-dessus d'une console ou d'un buffet.

Il est en bon état, avec de très légères traces d'usage.

Maison Lecan presents this large graphic mirror from the 2000s. A rectangular central mirror is framed by sharp-angled mirror shards that overlap all the way around.

The frame is the highlight. The facets sit on several levels, in slight relief, with a black edge outlining each one. The effect shifts with the light and with the angle you look at it from.

The whole piece is mounted on a black MDF panel about 12 mm thick, cut to follow the outline of the facets. Two hangers on the back allow it to hang vertically or horizontally: as a full-length mirror in an entrance, or lengthwise above a console or sideboard.

It is in good condition, with very light signs of use.
